Science and Art are plain

I think that the Way of creation, it is the union of Science and Art.
The aesthetic pleasure of the image calculee (computer graphics, data-processing image) is that the research of the artistic beauty joins has the study of the scientific truths.

An image calculee (computer graphics, data-processing image) is, by definition, an image creee by an information processing system from mathematical model. One creates images calculees by handling information. This information is contained in the mathematical models. Thus made aesthetic of an image calculee depends on the complexity of the mathematical model uses.
The beauty of the image calculee thus comes from two factors:
1° - creative imagination.
2° - the mathematical model.

The image calculee, as a work of art, brings a new dimension has art:
1° - On the level of creation, by the tool for creation and the mode of creation.
2° - on the level of esthetics, as well in form as in texture, by the algorithms and the formulas.

Nowadays, with progress in computer graphics, the realistic esthetics of the images calculees is as resembling as that of the classic arts or photographic. It is what causes a kind of magic artistic in an image calculee.

All the philosophical question is to know which kind of aesthetic feeling, of report/ratio has art one can have with the image calculee.

The image calculee is universal, its direction remains practically same whatever the language of that which it percoit same for people of different cultures.

In this personal site, I put my work, my research and my courses (of 1990 2003 have has IPT Universite Paris 8) on the Calculee Image.

( Sorry, the next text must be read in french in order to appreciate the french puns. ) Il etait une fois, un monsieur m'a pose la question suivante: qu'est-ce-que un INTERNET ? Je lui ai dit : quant un homme est enferme dans un hopital psychiatrique, il est INTERNET. Ainsi, cet inter-note (de service salee) est un individu qui vit a l'interieur d'un RESEAU DES RESEAUX (de barbeles). Il passe son temps a surfer sur les sites Web, il communique avec l'univers en Email et en Newsgroups, il telecharge par FTP et il ecrit des fichiers HTML, etc ... Il est en extase avec le vide celeste. Il ne boit plus, il ne mange plus, il laisse tomber sa famille et ses amis, il ne sort plus, il passe des nuits blanches. A la fin, il est devenu drogue. Alors on l'a INTERNET... Le monsieur n'a pas pris de note; et il est parti pour s'informer a "INTERnational NETwork".
